Privacy Policy

Last updated October 23, 2026

Spraydar helps coaches scout opponents using game data. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: your program's data is yours, it stays private to your program, we never sell it, and there are no ads or trackers.

1. What we collect

From coaches who use Spraydar:

  • Account details: your email address and password. Passwords are stored by our login provider in hashed form; we never see them.
  • Program details: your program's name, the teams you coach, coaches you add (their email addresses) and an optional team logo.
  • Billing details: your plan, its dates, seats and payment amounts. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and handled by Stripe; we never receive your card number.
  • Messages: what you send through the Feedback form (your name, email and message) or by email.

Game data you import:

  • Play-by-play from games, which includes players' names or jersey numbers, their teams and their on-field results (at-bats, batted balls, pitches, errors and similar). If you use MaxPreps sync, we also store the public MaxPreps page link you paste and the season stats on it.

Automatically:

  • Basic technical information our hosting provider records to keep the site running and secure, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
  • A sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, and your light/dark mode choice saved in your browser.

That's it. Spraydar has no advertising, no ad trackers and no third-party analytics.

2. How we use it

  • To run Spraydar for your program: importing games, building reports, shift cards and game plans, and managing your coaches.
  • To process payments and send account email: receipts (from Stripe), plan reminders and replies to your messages.
  • To keep Spraydar secure and working, fix problems, and spot unusual use of an account.
  • To improve Spraydar using aggregated, anonymous statistics with no player names, teams or programs attached. Any feature that compares players across different programs only uses data from programs that choose to take part.

3. Players and minors

Much of the game data in Spraydar describes high school and youth players, and many of them are minors. Players don't use Spraydar: coaches import their data, and we hold it on that coach's program's behalf, for coaching and scouting only. Spraydar isn't directed at children, and we don't create accounts for anyone under 18.

A player's data is visible only to the coaches of the program that imported it. We don't publish it, sell it, or use it for marketing.

Parents and players: if you'd like a player's information reviewed or removed, email spraydarapp@gmail.com. We'll work with the program that imported it to handle your request.

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share it only:

  • With the service providers that run Spraydar, under their own privacy and security commitments: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (website hosting), Stripe (payments) and Resend (email delivery).
  • Within your program: coaches you add can see your program's data.
  • When the law requires it, or to protect Spraydar, our users or the public from harm.
  • If Spraydar is sold or reorganized, with the new owner, who must keep honoring this policy.

5. How we protect it

  • All traffic to Spraydar is encrypted (HTTPS).
  • Each program's data is separated from every other program's at the database level, so one program can't see another's.
  • Access to the systems behind Spraydar is limited to the people who run it.

6. How long we keep it

  • We keep your program's data while your account exists, including after a plan ends (your account becomes read-only, so you can renew without losing anything).
  • When you ask us to delete your data, we remove it from Spraydar, except records we must keep, such as payment records for tax purposes.
  • Basic technical logs are kept only as long as our hosting provider needs them for security and troubleshooting.

7. Your choices

Email spraydarapp@gmail.com to:

  • get a copy of your program's data;
  • correct information that's wrong;
  • delete your account or your program's data;
  • ask any question about how your information is handled.

You can also fix most things yourself in the app: edit or merge players, remove coaches in Settings, and change your team logo. We'll respond to requests within 30 days.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date. For significant changes, we'll also let you know by email or in the app.

9. Contact
